Manor House Heritage Loft Rooms

For those seeking an authentic Cape Dutch heritage stay, the Manor House Heritage Loft Rooms offer a truly distinctive experience.
Set within the historic Manor House, dating back to 1812, these four loft-style rooms are nestled beneath the original thatch roof — where exposed wooden beams, soft textures, and preserved architectural details create a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Tucked within Weltevreden’s sculpture garden and set on a gentle rise on the estate, the Hatchery Rooms offer a contemporary, design-led Stellenbosch accommodation experience.
This collection of five newly built double rooms (with a sixth currently in development) features modern finishes, soft neutral interiors, and curated touches throughout. Each room includes an en-suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning, in-room television, and a minibar.
Located near the estate’s working hatchery, these rooms offer a subtle connection to farm life while maintaining a calm and refined atmosphere.
Each room opens onto a private stoep with outdoor seating — perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the garden setting.
The Hatchery Rooms are also the only accommodation option offering interleading rooms (Rooms 1 & 2), making them ideal for families or guests travelling together.
